About Charlotte

Charlotte Perrelli is one of Sweden’s most accomplished and recognizable artists, with a career spanning more than four decades across music, television and live entertainment.

She first gained international fame when she won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999 with the song Take Me to Your Heaven, giving Sweden its fourth Eurovision victory. The win launched an international career and established Perrelli as one of the contest’s most iconic performers.

Throughout her career she has remained a central figure in Swedish pop culture, particularly through her many appearances in Melodifestivalen. In 2008 she once again won the competition with the hit song Hero, returning to Eurovision and further cementing her status as one of Sweden’s most successful Melodifestivalen artists.

Charlotte Perrelli has released twelve solo studio albums and numerous hit singles, while also touring extensively across Scandinavia with large-scale concert tours and live productions.

Beyond pop music, she has enjoyed a successful career on stage and in television. She has starred in major musical productions including Evita and Beauty and the Beast, demonstrating her versatility as a performer. She has also appeared in numerous television programs and served as a jury member on the popular talent show Talang.

With her powerful voice, charismatic stage presence and ability to constantly reinvent herself, Charlotte Perrelli remains one of Sweden’s most respected and enduring entertainers.
